You must be enrolled in our Online Banking and have the FSB Online mobile app downloaded to a camera ready device in order to use this service.
- Flatten folded or crumpled checks.
- Sign/Endorse the back of you check as it is made payable on the front just as you would if you were bringing it to the bank and write “mobile deposit” on the back of the check.
- Before logging into FSB Online app, close all other apps running in the background on your mobile phone.
- When prompted for the amount, carefully enter the check amount to ensure it matches the amount written on your check.
- Place the check on a solid dark background.
- Keep the check within the view finder and get all four corners visible when capturing your photos. Do not get too much of the background area behind the check.
- Make sure the check is a clear image and the MICR line (numbers on the bottom of the check) is legible.
- Select the correct account to make the “mobile deposit” if you have more than one account.
- You will receive credit the next business day if items are received and accepted by 3:00 pm.
- Check the status of the deposit after 5:00pm on the FSB Online app to verify the deposit was accepted.
- If the deposit status says “failed” call the bank for further assistance.
- Keep the check in a secure location making sure you have been given credit in your account.
